Understanding SHAPE: A Blueprint for Authentic Living

Welcome to SHAPE Talks, a space dedicated to exploring the uniqueness, authenticity, and individuality that each person embodies. Every individual on Earth is designed with a distinct identity—separate, independent, and different from others. In this session, we will break down the concept of SHAPE, an acrostic that forms the foundation of SHAPE-driven success. Whether you are a parent, a professional, or a leader, understanding and embracing your SHAPE is crucial for personal and societal fulfillment.

The Essence of SHAPE

SHAPE is not just a concept; it is a way of living. It ensures that your sense of uniqueness, independence, and distinction manifests in all your endeavors. If you are a mother, let your SHAPE influence your interactions with your children, your spouse, and other parents. Your SHAPE should define how you navigate relationships and responsibilities, ensuring that you operate within the space meant uniquely for you.

In today's world, ideologies, concepts, and theories constantly shape societal norms, often encouraging conformity. When someone dares to deviate from these norms, they risk being labeled as rebellious or different. However, if we return to the origin of human creation, we recognize that every person was made uniquely on purpose. This uniqueness grants each of us a distinct space where we set our own rules, create boundaries, and determine who enters our sphere of influence.

SHAPE: The Foundation of Individuality

Your SHAPE defines your wiring—spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Even identical twins, despite their genetic similarities, possess distinct personalities and differences that make each one unique. This is because each person is designed to operate as an independent being. While interdependence is essential, we cannot fully embrace it until we first establish our independence. Your SHAPE equips you with the courage, confidence, motivation, and legal right to be independent.

Now, let's delve into what SHAPE stands for:

S – Spirit

Genesis 1:26 states, "Let us make man in our own image and likeness and let them have dominion." This passage highlights the spiritual essence of human beings. God, when creating humanity, referred to Himself, indicating that we are made in His image. This means that as humans, we have a spirit that enables us to connect, relate, and communicate with God.

You are not just a physical being—you are a spiritual entity with the ability to receive divine inspiration, direction, and wisdom. John 15 illustrates this concept further by describing Jesus as the true vine and believers as branches. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit without remaining connected to the vine, you cannot thrive without maintaining a close relationship with God. Your spirit is your bridge to the supernatural, allowing you to receive guidance and insight from heaven.

Reflecting the Will of God

Whatever your profession—whether you are a mother, father, doctor, teacher, or lawyer—ask yourself: Are you reflecting the will of God in your daily life? Are your thoughts, actions, and words aligned with the divine purpose assigned to you? This introspective question is vital in assessing whether your life mirrors heaven’s design for you.
